The people of  Saida  do  not want a hand out.
What The people of Saida  needs  is a domestic industry  ,a line of production that could sustain local employment to meet the growth of our population.
That is why some of the people of Saida are not ashamed of pushing their three wheeled cart full of fresh and  best of produce in order to sell and make living.
The Honorable Mr. Mohamed al-Saudi
Mayor and Chief  Executive of the city of Saida ;
And all politician who representing the sitizens of saida;
Dear sirs;
When I was a young man, my father took me with him to meet one of the politicians who was running for a political office representing the people of the city of Siada.  My father had made the point to him that my son, like many other young men, citizen of the city of  Siada , would need a job. This Politician answer was a suggestion that my father send me to Kuwait were there are many jobs available at that time
 My father did allow me to travel to Kuwait.
  In  Kuwait , I  worked as a printer, the trade which my father had taught me. I was one of the printers who printed and produced the first public news paper in Kuwait, JERIDET ALSHAAB.   I  also  was one of the first printers who printed  the first copy of the “AL-ARABE MAGAZINE in 1958. In Kuwait”
With a help of a friend, I got a chance to go to the United  States . In the city of Denver, State of Colorado , I was employed  for the last twenty four years as printer for The “Rocky  Mountain News, morning daily News paper, in Denver Colorado.”
Through my history reading about the State of Colorado, one of the Mayors of a little town called, Pueblo Colorado, had, fascinated me for what he had done for his town.
The town of Pueblo was then a small farming community where everyone worked on the farm. With New generation of young people growing up, there were a large number of young men who were seeking employment or a job.  The mayor of the town got  an idea. He toke a ride on the first  train heading to the city of Chicago, ILLinois.  HE Immediately  arranged  for a meeting  with the owners and chief executives of the steels and Iron industries in Chicago.  He presented to them his idea which they welcomed and accept.  The mayor idea was about  a large piece of land  which belonged to his city, located beside the real-road  track. He then offered this land for them to lease  for a period of one hundred years for the sum rent of just one hundred dollars if they agree to build on it a manufactory of their industry in Pueblo.  And so, Pueblo Colorado became  prosperous and a major city in The United States to producing steel and Iron for the rest of the country.
Last September 2011, Mr. Shohei Muroi, the mayor of Aizu- Wakamatsu, a town in Japan, just about the size of  Saida,  he did  just what the mayor of the town of Pueblo Did  more then a  hundred years before him. Mr. Muroi flew to China to ask the Chinese  maker of heavy machinery to come to his town and invest in setting up a manufactory in his town. “Our local industry is no longer could sustain local employment” Mr muroi said  in an interview.  When Mr. Muroi returned with a succeful agreement to build manufactory from the heavy equipment maker, Zoomlion CO., he was received as a national hero by the citizens of his town.

Yes  Mr. Mayor and Polticians representative, the citizens of  Saida, Do not condone a hand out for their city. They would appreciate , however, a creation of an industry  sustainable of  jobs, an employment  for themselves and their children. They are not looking for a rich King who wanted to write his name on a piece of ceramic  hanged somewhere on a wall  to be remembered as good giver for Saida.    Again , Sirs, They prefer industrial jobs a line of production just  like their ancestors whom they were , ships builders.
Finally Mr. al-Saudi ,honorable mayor of my town, I sincerely  thank you for all the good you are doing for  our town. Furthermore, I add my voice to my dear dear friend  who died recently for speaking out for Saida, Mr. abu Mazen al-Natoot, may God rest his soul,
“WE IN SIADA DO NOT WANT A HAND OUT PEOPLE  WHO ARE MUGGING  OUR STREETS. “
                                                            Sincerely   Yours ;   Jamil Reyad Derani
